Copan Update

The Calle El Centro Festival Gastronomico will be presented in Copan Ruinas on Friday, December 7. This food festival will be open from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., hosted by five different restaurants located on the block, it will feature a house specialty from each restaurant as well as typical Honduran Christmas Foods. Specially decorated and designated tables will be set up in front of the restaurant locations along the street.

These are the words continuously yelled by the bus and taxi drivers and their assistants in Honduras. It is a social penalty. Directing transportation in Honduras has been the task of individuals who do not use these means of locomotion. Contributing their educational impoverishment, the willful people who earn their living by providing transport have given their profession a disagreeable image.

parts) TRUJILLO - The approach of the Comite de Emergencia Garifuna is not to simply donate: all the projects are designed so that the participants have to contribute back, and to foster cooperation, sustainable development and self-sufficiency. The people who lost houses, for instance, had to contribute an assistant and raw materials for the building of their house.
