Hotel Camino Real located just past the town entrance on the main road, left side, the street to Guasaule. Rooms are simple and clean. Excellent restaurant, pool and garden. This is a personal favorite. It's owned by a woman who is a Texas widow. Pleasant place to stay. Rooms about $30 night. Telephone 82-0630 or fax 82-2860.

Hotel La Fuente located on the main road nearer to the center of town Barrio Los Mangos. Clean rooms, pool, restaurant, garden, air-conditioned, needs to be better maintained. $25 night Telephone 82-0253 and 82 0263.

Hotel Pierre located downtown near the "Mercado", coffee shop, air conditioning, clean, well maintained,

Hotel Imperio Maya, located on the Panamerican Highway in Choluteca. Restaurant, bar, swimming pool, laundry, parking. New listing, no other data.

Hotel Lisboa, is for the economy traveler, $5 a night. This hotel has a new name, but Hotel Lisboa is still above the entrance.
